Buddy for little apps and games
Tell me who it’s for and what it should do. I’ll build a small game, quiz, or calculator and send you a link anyone can open in a browser.
A mom in Rapid City, South Dakota, with a third grader who groans at the word fractions.
Fraction Pizza is the game Buddy made from this request, and it really plays.
Tell me who it’s for and what they’re practicing. I’ll build a little game and send a link that opens in a browser.

From one text to a game
Tell me who it’s for
Their age, what they’re practicing or what the page should do, and what they love. A quiz about pizza is still a quiz about fractions.
I build it and check it
A small page that works in the browser, with nothing to install. I make sure it loads before I send the link.
Play, then change it
Ask for harder questions, more of them, or a different look, and I’ll make another version.
More you can ask for
- Make a fractions quiz game for my 9‑year‑old.
- Make a flash card game for his times tables, 6 through 9.
- Make a countdown to our beach trip the kids can check every morning.
- Make a map game where you name the state from its shape, for our road trip.
- Make a trivia game about our family for the reunion.
- Keep the fractions game live so she can play it all month.
What you get back
A game in the browser
A page that opens on a phone, a tablet, or a computer. Anyone with the link can play it, so keep last names and school names out of it.
How shared pages workHer place, saved on her device
The page can keep a player’s progress in the browser they play in. It doesn’t make accounts or carry a score to another device.
Up for three days, or longer if you ask
Every link stays up for 72 hours. Ask me to keep one live and it stays up while you’re a member, up to ten at a time.
The file, if you want it
Ask for the source file too. Making a file and publishing a link are separate, so say when you only want the file.
Work with files

Fraction Pizza. Ten questions, a star for every right answer.

Questions people ask
Who can play it?
Anyone you send the link to. A published page is public, so leave out anything private, like a last name or the name of a school.
Does it save her score?
Yes. Her place and her stars are saved in the browser she plays on, so she can stop halfway and pick up later. There are no accounts or shared scoreboards, so each player’s progress is their own.
How long does the link last?
72 hours. Ask Buddy to keep it live and it stays up for as long as you’re a member, up to ten at a time. He can bring back an expired one too, though he may need the original file.
What can’t these pages do?
They’re small pages that run in the visitor’s browser. They can’t run an online store, collect form submissions, or connect to a private account. If you’re not sure an idea fits, ask Buddy.
Can he change it after it’s made?
Yes. Tell Buddy what to change, like harder questions, a different theme, or a shorter game, and he’ll make another version.
