Buddy for car registration
Tell me which car needs renewing. I’ll fill in the renewal on the official site and hand you my screen when it’s time to pay.
A nurse in Dothan, Alabama, just off a night shift, with a tag that expires Friday.
Send me off to renew it. When the site needs your card or your sign-in, I’ll hand you the screen for that part.

I work through the official site and stop where it needs you: a sign-in, a check that you’re human, or the payment.
You pay on their page
Tap the link to take over my screen and enter your card on the site itself. Then I finish, save the receipt, and tell you what it says.

Questions people ask
Does Buddy take my card number?
Not in chat. When it’s time to pay, he sends a link to take over his screen, and you type your card into the site’s own payment page. Never paste a card number into a message.
Do I need the VXBE desktop app?
No. The takeover link opens in your phone’s browser. Choose Open Buddy’s screen, and tap I’m done when you’ve paid.
How do I know it actually went through?
Buddy tells you what the site showed at the end and saves the receipt. Reaching the payment page isn’t the same as renewing, and he’ll say which one happened. If a page stalls after you pay, ask him to check before paying again.
What if the link expires before I get to it?
Reply and ask Buddy to reopen that step. A sign-in may need to be done again.
What if my renewal needs an inspection or a visit first?
Buddy can look up what your state asks for and tell you. If a step needs you in person, or the site won’t let him do it, he’ll say what remains.
