Questions people ask
Does Buddy see my password or card number?
You type them into the reservation site yourself, through the takeover link. Don’t put them in chat. Buddy can see the page again when he picks the work back up.
Will he book a site without asking?
Say what you want. Finding a site and booking it are different steps, so tell him to grab it, or to check with you first. Payment happens in your hands during the handoff.
How fast does he catch a cancellation?
At his next check. He checks on a schedule, not live, so someone else may get a site first.
Do I need the VXBE desktop app?
No. In iMessage the takeover arrives as a link. Open it in your browser, choose Open Buddy’s screen, and tap I’m done when you’ve finished.
What if the page freezes after I pay?
Ask Buddy to check whether the booking went through before trying again. A missing confirmation isn’t proof that it failed.
