Questions people ask
Will Buddy get the permit for me?
No. He tells you when the page changes and can look up what the county asks for. Getting the permit is between you and the county.
Can he tell me if it’s safe to burn?
No. That depends on the county’s rules, the conditions on your ground, and the permit itself. Buddy can tell you what the county’s page says and what the forecast shows.
How fast will I hear?
At Buddy’s next check. He checks on a schedule, not live. If timing matters, ask him to check more often, or call the county.
How do I stop the checks?
Tell Buddy in the conversation where you set it up, or ask him to stop on his own once the change shows up. In the VXBE desktop app, Settings, then Scheduled work, shows it too.
Does my computer need to be on?
No. The checks run online, so you can text Buddy from your phone and leave everything else off.
