This policy explains the uses VXBE cannot support. It applies to Buddy, connected apps, browser and workspace features, files, schedules, Buddy-made public sites, and every action performed through a VXBE account.
1. Do not harm people
Do not use VXBE to:
- threaten, stalk, harass, exploit, or seriously invade another person's privacy;
- create or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving minors;
- facilitate human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
- meaningfully assist suicide, self-harm, or violence against a person;
- identify or target a person for unlawful discrimination; or
- impersonate someone deceptively to cause harm or obtain access, money, or sensitive information.
2. Do not access what is not yours
Do not use VXBE to gain unauthorized access to an account, device, network, database, connected app, credential, or private information. Do not steal credentials, evade authentication, deploy malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or probe third-party systems without authorization.
Legitimate security research is allowed when you own the system or have explicit permission, stay within the authorized scope, avoid accessing or retaining other people's data, and do not degrade service. Report a VXBE vulnerability to privacy@vxbe.space with “Security” in the subject.
3. Do not commit fraud or illegal acts
Do not use VXBE for fraud, scams, phishing, money laundering, identity theft, market manipulation, unlawful gambling, sanctions evasion, trafficking in illegal goods, or another violation of law.
Do not use automated actions to send spam, manipulate engagement, create deceptive reviews, or misrepresent the origin of content.
4. Do not create dangerous capabilities
Do not use VXBE to develop, obtain, or deploy biological, chemical, radiological, nuclear, or weapons capabilities intended to harm people or evade lawful controls. Benign education, safety, compliance, and defensive research remain allowed when they do not provide meaningful assistance for harm.
5. Respect rights and confidential information
Do not submit or distribute content that you know infringes intellectual property, violates confidentiality, exposes unlawfully obtained personal data, or breaches a legal duty. Do not use Buddy to make consequential decisions about another person based on highly sensitive data without lawful authority and appropriate human review.
6. Protect the service
Do not:
- bypass usage, billing, entitlement, security, or execution controls;
- resell or share personal account access;
- deliberately trigger unbounded cost, destructive loops, or provider abuse;
- scrape or reverse engineer the service beyond rights given by law;
- use retrieved text, tool output, or outside instructions to expand Buddy's authority beyond your authenticated request; or
- conceal activity to evade a restriction imposed for a confirmed violation.
Experimenting with prompts, asking how safeguards work, or receiving a false-positive classifier label is not by itself a violation.
7. How VXBE responds
VXBE may stop an action, rate limit, revoke a session, isolate a capability, require account recovery, suspend an account, or terminate service. We choose a response based on the evidence, immediacy, repetition, and likely harm.
An active attack, compromised credential, malware event, fraud attempt, or urgent safety risk may be contained automatically. A semantic content classifier by itself does not produce a final account punishment. When the risk allows, VXBE provides notice, a reason category, and an opportunity to appeal or cure.
To appeal, reply to the decision notice or contact privacy@vxbe.space. We may preserve the minimum evidence reasonably needed to review the decision, protect the service, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
8. Changes
VXBE may update this policy as the product gains capabilities or new risks become concrete. Material changes receive notice under the Terms of Service.
